Welcome to d8talk! Our social media platforms are a space for meaningful conversations about dating, identity, and relationships. We encourage open discussion, but we also prioritise respect, inclusivity, and the well-being of our participants and community.
By engaging with our content, you agree to follow these guidelines:
1. Respect the People in Our Content
d8talk features real people sharing real experiences. Any form of harassment, personal attacks, or disrespectful comments directed at participants, creators, or other users will not be tolerated.
2. Constructive Discussions Only
We welcome diverse perspectives, but keep discussions constructive and on-topic. Hate speech, discrimination, or inflammatory language based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or any other identity is strictly prohibited.
3. No Bullying, Harassment, or Doxxing
Any form of bullying, threats, or attempts to expose personal information (doxxing) will result in an immediate ban and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
4. Privacy & Consent Matter
Do not share or request personal information about participants or crew. Speculating about their personal lives beyond what is shared in the content is inappropriate.
5. No Spam or Self-Promotion
We encourage authentic engagement. However, excessive self-promotion, irrelevant links, or spam comments will be removed.
6. Respectful Engagement with Our Team
Our social media moderators are here to maintain a safe space. If you have concerns or feedback, express them respectfully by messaging us on our platforms or hello@d8talk.nz by email. Abusive messages directed at our team will not be tolerated.
7. Content Warnings & Sensitivity
We acknowledge that dating conversations can touch on sensitive topics. If a post includes potentially triggering or otherwise sensitive content, we will provide a content warning where possible. Please engage with care and respect for others’ experiences.
8. Report, Don’t Engage
If you see a comment that violates these guidelines, report it to us rather than responding directly. You can do so by messaging us on our platforms or hello@d8talk.nz by email. Avoid engaging with harmful content as this can amplify it.
9. Moderation & Enforcement
We reserve the right to remove comments and block users who violate this code of conduct. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned from our platforms.
